Our Pool has a Problem with Water Pressure?

Hi Christie, I hope all is well with you.

Sorry to burden you with this on Friday afternoon but we have been having issues with the water pressure for quite some time and it seem to be getting worse. It starts out fine in the morning but progresses to a trickle by the end of the day on one or two of the spouts.  It is corrected if we restart the pump, so something isn't quite right.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Many thanks!

ANSWER:

Since your pressure seems to be alright in the morning, and weakens throughout the day.

We believe this loss of pressure, could be due to to a dirty Pool Filter (which could be full of sediment and dirt). You could remove the pool filter and clean this with your hose.  Put the pool filter back in and see if this works.

* It is recommended that a pool filter be changed every 6 months.  Also, your pool cleaner should be cleaning this filter, every week.

If this does not fix the problem, let me know.  Also, please check when the last time the filter was replaced.

In the meantime, have a great day!
